A trip to the sky
Last week I stayed job-related two days in Zermatt, Switzerland, doing an assistance job for a video production. Its one of the most famous (and most expensive) holiday-ressorts in europe, mostly because of its famous mountain: The Matterhorn. Of course I also did some shots of this mountain, but today I want to show some other pictures. The region around Zermatt is one of the few regions, where you can ski in summer. You also can find there the highest viewpoint in Europe, a mountain railway takes you to 3883 metres, on the klein Matterhorn. Its called Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. I just want to show you some impressions of this journey, we started on last thursday at 6 o'clock in the morning. We stayed around 10 hours on the mountain, and had a continuous changing weather situation. If you ever have the chance to visit a place with such a beautiful view, take it.
I also shot some more landscape material and created three different series over the weekend, called "the.gigantic.alps", "the.mystic.alps" and "the.dark.alps". So stay tuned, I will show them soon.
